The project includes 6 WorkPackages (WP):

(1) Project Management, in which the entire activities of the project will be monitored and optimized against project times and related deliverables to be accomplished. The Project Management Team (PMT) is the main body for reviewing and monitoring (through monitoring procedures) the project’s progress and making the project run as effectively as possible (review and monitor the activities against an agreed project plan, management of the resources, evaluation of the developments and deliverables, wide disseminationof the project result, etc.).

(2) Quality Management System course for Ph.D and Lecturers development; with this course the basic principles of QMS applied in a Public Body like a university will be developed. This activity include a practical phase in which the participants will front real application cases extracted from the EU Universities of the partners and will be guided to the solution of the cases in a Quality Oriented environment.

(3) Course for operative development of Quality Managers; this second course is to form the key role of the Quality Manager (QM) who is a professional ever and ever requested both in private and in public sector.

(4) Academic staff relocation in EU; in this activity a representative of Thai academic staff will spend one week to the EU universities partners of the project to see how the theoretical and practical concepts developed with the previous activities are applied inside a university and which can be the most common problems to front.

(5) QMS development and test in CMU University; in this activity the entire QMS will be developed and tested in the CMU. The last step of this activity will be the realisation of the Quality Manual, in which the entire academic reality will be rationalized in terms of activities and related procedures. Inside this activity another important step is related to the Audits development, with the objective to address the comprehensiveness, performance, transparency, and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and to determine how the CMU monitors, evaluates and develops its QMS.

(6) Dissemination that will start from the half running of the project and that aims to diffuse the culture of the quality in the Public Institution in Thailand, diffuse the system developed between other universities and institution in Thailand, Create a specific structure will be provided inside the university, called the Ateneum Quality Centre (AQC), that will have in charge the diffusion of the Quality culture inside the other faculties and department of the CMU. The AQC will also have in charge the organisation of the initiative related to quality diffusion in the CMU. In the AQC will be involved at least one academic staff from each Faculty/Department of CMU; this structure will have in charge also to attracts funds from Public and Private Bodies to continue its activity after the closing of the project. The Centre, working on Quality and related project, will become a Centre of Excellence on Quality in Thialand and will be first Centre of excellence on Quality established inside a University in the South East Asia.
