SKIMA - International conference on Software Knowledge Information Management and Applications

The First international conference on Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA) was hosted by the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University in 2006 in Thailand, to provide a platform to support  fast development of in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The theme of the conference focused on the management of Software, Knowledge and Information in a broad range of applications. These areas have recently emerged as hot topics with great academic interests and commercial applications.
In 2009, the conference will be held in held in Fès - Morocco, October 21 - 23, 2009 , for more detail

Organisation of a National Conference focused on Quality in the Academic Institutions (NQA).
In the conference the AQC will be officially presented to the following invited representatives:

  • At least one Academic representative (Preferable the Rector) of the most known Thai Universities;
  • At least one representative (preferably the Dean) of the other Faculties of CMU;
  • The Thai Ministry of Education and Ministry of Industry
  • At least two representatives of the EU Commission Delegation in Thailand

This conference will be organised from 14 to the 14 month of the development of the project

In this conference the entire QMS developed will explained and will be pointed out the benefits obtained, with related possibilities to expand the system inside the other Faculties and Departments of CMU and among other Thai Universities. There will be a specific session in which some scientific papers will be presented as a spin-off of the development of the project
