The dissemination activities will:
- diffuse the culture of the quality in the Public Institution in Thailand
- diffuse the system developed between other universities and institution in Thailand
- Create spin-off research on Quality and Quality Assurance in the Ph.D. and researcher of the University
They will be carried out through the following actions
- A Collaborative Website will be created inside the website of the CMU university in which there will be published the entire QMS developed and it updating. The website will also report the yearly quality report with related performance indicators and the improvements obtained
- A specific structure will be provided inside the university, called the Ateneum Quality Centre (AQC), that will have in charge the diffusion of the Quality culture inside the other faculties and department of the University. The AQC will also have in charge the organisation of the initiative related to quality diffusion in the CMU. In the structure will be involved at least one faculty staff for each faculty/department of CMU and will have in charge to start activities to attract national and international funds through specific projects, courses on Quality for Public and private Bodies and consultancy/research contracts. This centre aims to become a Centre for Excellence on Quality in Thailand and will be the first centre of this type established inside a University in the whole South East Asia.
- The AQC will organise workshop focused on Quality in the Academic institution in which will be invited the most important Academic Authorities in Thailand. The workshop will have a dedicated session that will show how the QMS is organised and works in CMU. Another session of the workshop will be dedicated to the scientific spin-off deriving from the application of a QMS. In this session some scientific papers will be presented by the lecturers of CMU. There will be also invitation for Thai and non Thai speaker to present some scientific results related to the application of QMS inside Universities and, more in general, in public institutions.
- The Centre of Excellence on Quality will eventually be established at CMU and will start-up its main services, addressing the needs of target groups of the centre, ie, educational organization, private and public sectors.
- The prospective activities are for example training/ workshop, consultancy as well as being a body to implement the QA system. Whilst, of course, the service fee are to be minimal, the funding of the centre will expectedly be from outside such as Commission on Higher Education, Thailand research funds, Office of National Research Council of Thailand and the Council of Engineering Deans of Thailand. The sustainability of the centre is overwhelming.
The following activities will be performed
Development of the Project website. It will be provided of the following basic information
- Project description and related objectives
- Project advancement, with a dynamic Gantt chart showing the advancement of each activities
- Advancement of QMS application and related results
- Status of dissemination acitivities and related impact
- Interactive forum on Quality in Academic structure to ensure the participation and opinions of possible thirdy part actors
This activity will begin during the first month of the project and will have a continuous duration along the development of the project
Ateneum Quality Center (AQC) foundation.
The establishment of AQC will be made with a specific decree by the Recto, who will have in charge to define the rules and composition
This activity will begin during the QMS development and will continuous along the entire development of the project
Organisation of a National Conference focused on Quality in the Academic Institutions (NQA). In the conference the AQC will be officially presented to the following invited representatives:
- At least one Academic representative (Preferable the Rector) of the most known Thai Universities;
- At least one representative (preferably the Dean) of the other Faculties of CMU;
- The Thai Ministry of Education and Ministry of Industry
- At least two representatives of the EU Commission Delegation in Thailand
This conference will be organised from 14 to the 14 month of the development of the project
In this conference the entire QMS developed will explained and will be pointed out the benefits obtained, with related possibilities to expand the system inside the other Faculties and Departments of CMU and among other Thai Universities. There will be a specific session in which some scientific papers will be presented as a spin-off of the development of the project |
