The College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), Chiang Mai University, through Naplab Game Studio, sparked a new challenge for young game developers by organizing an intense Game Jam titled “NECRONOMI-JAM” under the haunting and powerful concept “A Game Jam Blazing from Lovecraft’s Forbidden Tome.” The event created a “Learning Playground” for students and game creation enthusiasts to unleash their limitlessness creativity.

The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with determination, excitement, and burning creative energy. NECRONOMI-JAM serves as another key milestone for Naplab Game Studio in promoting CAMT CMU’s Game Development Ecosystem to cultivate unique, new-generation game developers prepared to advance to the international level. The event took place from July 24 to 26, 2026, at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, with over 60 participants.
