CAMT CMU Hosts Special Lecture “Creating Thai Games and Animation for the Global Market,” Bringing Industry Experts to Share Real-World Experience with Students


The College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, organized a special lecture titled “Creating Thai Games and Animation for the Global Market” for 1st-year Animation and Visual Effects students. The event was honored to host guest speakers from Waka Studio, a studio whose work was selected for the Future Games Show 2024 and screened nationwide in China in 2026.

This activity was part of the course 951215 Storyboarding, supervised by Asst.Prof.Manissaward Jintapitak, Ph.D., a faculty member of the Animation and Visual Effects Program. It focused on bridging academic knowledge with real-world experience from industry experts to prepare students to efficiently develop essential skills for their future careers in the animation industry. The event took place on August 6, 2026, at the Learning Playground area, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
