
The College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, organized the “CAMT AI LEARNING EXCHANGE 2026” activity to promote knowledge, understanding, and the effective application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in teaching, learning, and workplace operations, adapting sustainably to the digital era.
The event featured a guest lecture by Asst.Prof.Prompong Sugunnasil, Ph.D., Assistant Director of the Information Technology Service Center overseeing the AI College, Chiang Mai University. The lecture aimed to build awareness and understanding of CMU’s AI Policy, focusing on adopting AI tools in educational and operational contexts accurately, transparently, and ethically.
Additionally, the workshop provided a platform to exchange practical experiences in utilizing Generative AI and various digital tools to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and foster innovative teaching methods. Participants also reviewed the management outcomes of the college’s AI subscriptions and jointly established guidelines for cost-effective, sustainable, and maximum-value technology resource utilization. The event took place on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at Dusit Princess Chiang Mai Hotel.
