
The Digital Industry Integration (DII) Program, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, continues to elevate student potential toward becoming digital entrepreneurs by hosting “Building a Startup: A Hands-On Workshop.” The active learning initiative focused on startup coaching and knowledge sharing to equip students with skills to create new innovations and confidently enter the global digital industry. The workshop directly advances CAMT’s Strategic Plan under SO1: Learning Playground (ACT2: Startup Entrepreneur & Contest), which aims to create proactive learning environments and foster practical digital entrepreneurship.
The event featured international experts, Assoc.Prof.Tossa Mebusaya, Ph.D., and Asst.Prof.Rattiya Mebusaya, Ph.D., from the International College of Technology (ICT), Kanazawa, Japan, who served as special coaches. They provided structured, in-depth guidance on students’ startup concepts, expanding their global perspectives on technology development and startup business models while preparing them for the upcoming ICT Startup Competition. The event took place on August 17, 2026, at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
