The Animation and Visual Effects Program, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, organized a special lecture titled “Xpert Xperience” to enhance direct knowledge and hands-on experience in screenwriting for first-year Animation and Visual Effects students.

The event featured guest speaker Mr. Chayanop Boonprakob (or “Moo”), a celebrated film director known for numerous acclaimed works including SuckSeed, May Who?, Friend Zone, The Red Envelope, and most recently, Gohan.

This session was held as part of the course 951106: Screenwriting and Digital Storytelling, supervised by Suparada Prapawong, Ph.D., lecturer in the Animation and Visual Effects Program. It focused on connecting academic knowledge with real-world industry expertise to prepare students with essential skills for successful careers in the film and animation industries.

The event took place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
