CAMT CMU Invites NIA Expert to Unveil “RESEARCH/STUDIO LAB” Mechanism to Drive Commercialization of Digital Creative Research

The Research Administration and International Relations Unit, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, organized a seminar titled “Building a Digital Creative Business Development Platform via RESEARCH/STUDIO LAB Mechanism” for faculty and staff to advance the digital creative industry, strengthen the innovation ecosystem, and commercialize research outputs on an international scale.

Key highlights of the seminar included:

• Expert Insights from NIA Leadership: Guest speaker Sura-at Supachatturat, Ph.D., Deputy Director of Innovation Finance at the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA, shared valuable insights on business development directions and strategies to commercialize digital creative research.

• Incubating Digital Content & Arts Startups: The lecture provided actionable frameworks for nurturing startups in the Digital Content and Digital Arts sectors, aiming to establish a robust foundation for tech-driven creative enterprises.

The seminar took place on September 22, 2026, at Room 413, College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
