CAMT CMU Launches “Green Soul Refresh” Tray Gardening Workshop to Enhance Student Mental Wellbeing

The College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University (CAMT CMU) organized the “Green Soul Refresh” (Miniature Garden) workshop, a creative mental wellbeing initiative designed to help students relieve academic stress, slow down, and reconnect with nature. Through designing personalized miniature tray gardens, participants expressed their creativity and cultivated their own peaceful safe spaces. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, smiles, and soothing tranquility, reflecting CAMT CMU’s commitment to supporting holistic student wellness.

Key highlights of the event included:

• Mental Wellbeing Through Creative Art: Students engaged in crafting miniature tray gardens based on their personal imagination and aesthetic preferences, promoting mindfulness and emotional relaxation.

• Personalized Safe Spaces: Participants created self-expressive, tangible green areas as symbolic safe zones to foster peace of mind and mental balance.

• Commitment to Student Wellness: The activity highlighted CAMT CMU’s proactive drive to enhance student well-being beyond academics, offering a comforting environment for mental rejuvenation.

The fieldwork took place on September 23, 2026, at the Co-working Space, 1st Floor, ILC-C Building.
