The College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, continues to advance international collaboration by joining forces with Inha University and Dong-A University from the Republic of Korea to host the “K-CAMT 2026 Hackathon in Net-Zero Carbon.” The event serves as a platform for Thai and South Korean students to co-create environmental and energy technology innovation hackathon projects addressing net-zero carbon emission goals.

This hackathon focuses on developing high-impact, measurable, and industry-ready solutions and technologies, aligning with CAMT’s key strategy—SO1: Excellent Learning Ecosystem (Learning Playground)—which aims to foster an outstanding learning environment conducive to experimentation. It encourages students to maximize their potential through complex problem-solving, creative thinking, and sustainable innovation. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for Thai and South Korean students to work in teams, exchange cultural perspectives, and practice working under resource-constrained conditions to develop global teamwork skills, with experts from both universities serving as advisors throughout the event.

The hackathon is held in conjunction with an academic workshop in collaboration with the Software-Centered University Business Group from Inha University and Dong-A University, Republic of Korea, from August 9 to 15, 2026, at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University.
