The Software Engineering Program, CMU, has a study visit to the industrial sector, strengthening students for real industries.

The Program in Software Engineering (International )at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University, organized an industrial field trip for over 30 3th and 4th year students to visit the Information Technology (IT) and Project Development departments of Nok Air Public Company Limited. The objective was to provide students with first-hand experience and a deeper understanding of how technology is applied in real-world industry settings. The visit was led by Dr. Kittitouch Suteeca, Chair of the Undergraduate Software Engineering Program; Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattama Longani, Secretary of the Graduate Software Engineering Program; Asst.Prof.Dr. Phudinun Singkhamfu, Lecturer in Software Engineering; and Mr. Ratchapol Nuchrungruang, International Program Officer. The field trip allowed students to connect classroom theory with industry practice, helping to prepare them for their future careers. It also served as a valuable opportunity to build networks with professionals in the software industry, supporting the development of high-quality graduates who meet the demands of the evolving job market. The activity took place from July 18–21, 2025, in Bangkok and Chonburi Province.
